I've been trying to do a few sketches the past few weeks.  A practice pose here and a vague picture idea there.  I even managed to draw something I kinda liked.  Then I discovered that sometime during its lack of use, my scanner died.  Granted, I've had the thing for almost 10 years, so it was bound to happen sooner or later.  So I went and purchased another scanner, used (because I can't afford a brand new one at the moment) and it's on it's way to me.  Hopefully I'll actually be able to post something again in the nearish future.  We'll see.

The last time I uploaded work was pretty much the last time I've really drawn anything.  My scanner is so dusty and buried under clutter that I'd be surprised if it still works.  My art supplies are.. rather non existent. To put it shortly, I gave up.  In my circle of friends I'm surrounded by incredibly gifted, talented and creative artists whose works far surpass my own.  Instead of inspired I feel defeated.  I feel like the kid that everyone else just pats on the head and says, "That's nice dear."  I search through this very website and feel justified in not bothering.  I never crawled out from the rut I fell into. With a neglected mecha
